So, this week I keep playing this lovely pop song by Sambassadeur. I tend to download the singles they review on Pitchfork, and then never listen to them. It's a hobby of mine. But a couple of days ago, I had a hankering for some new music. Anyway, after listening to this song a few times, I decide it's pretty delicious, so I try to find out something about the band. Wanna know something (else) geeky about me? My Google's set to googling Norwegian. So when it googles whatever it googles comes out norsk. (hehe) Anyhoo, normally, this is little more than an inconvenience, because it means I have to search for everything twice. Not so! for my friends Sambassadeur. Fordi de er svensk! And it seems a bunch of other Scandinavians have found out and are happy about it. Not so! me. I swear, I do not set out exclusively to admire Scandinavian musicians, friends of Scandinavian musicians, or people with vaguely Scandinavian-sounding names. They find me!!!

All this to say, I now have a few albums on my shopping list and will find my way over to Tiger Platebutikk in short order. And this time, I'm buying a t-shirt, dammit.
