No, really. I do spend hours with spools of wool/cotton blend yarn and a book of vintage sock patterns. Hey, it's how justify my trashy television. And it's a great way to warm up for retirement.

Implying that knee high socks aren't the staple of every sophisticated woman's wardrobe, the other day my friend Lindsey asked me what I was going to wear with them. Personally, I'm thinking hot pants.
