Tomorrow I hop a plane to Chicago where I will say "farewell" to some people of whom I've grown fond. Then on Wednesday night I start leg 1 of a 2-legged journey to Oslo. Hopefully, I will take the train into town, whereupon Simon will meet me at the train station, and we will have a happy reunion (especially happy for me, because someone else gets to drag one of my suitcases around)! Some time after that, you will hear from me again, AND there will be pictures, AND they will probably be of places and people you haven't seen before. Which was the alleged point of this silly little website in the first place. See you later!

    have a safe trip. it was good to hang out the other day. it was easily one of my favorite summer days memorable in the last 22 summers.

    and i'm a fan of the fact that most if not all of our party were in rare form for most if not all of the day.

    it's probably a good thing i'm getting out of the fine state of nebraska in a few weeks...all my friends are leaving...
